Expectations to Become a Coach at
The L.I.F.T. Lounge™....
First, you will need to commit to buying and successfully completing our online training course in order to attend our in-studio workshop(s). Students who have not completed the online course will not be able to attend the workshop(s) until the online course is successfully completed.
Cost of the Certification is $2497 and includes the online course with bonus modules and the (2) weekend workshops (financing options are available here)
After you successfully complete the online course, you will need to be available for (2) weekends of training/drilling/role playing. Workshops will be 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday.

You will be on the computer...a lot.
So, an understanding of technology (we use Slack & Asana - A LOT), email, navigating the web, and other computer-based stuff will be necessary. Don’t worry if you’ve never used that software before - we can teach you as long as YOUR coachable. We have clients in the studio and online.
You may be on the phone AND you will be in the studio a lot.
So, you need to enjoy talking with clients and potential clients ~ giving/getting direction and selling. Selling is solving a problem.
You need to be the type of person who gets joy out of getting things done.
Every day, you will bang out a list of stuff. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff.
You will become a brand within a brand. Learning the ins and outs of running a successful coaching business.
Your job is to help Ky, Jodi and The L.I.F.T. Lounge™ Corporate Office in any way you can
And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). Our studio is casual, but we do expect professionalism, integrity and punctuality – those are a biggie!
We don’t expect perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job.
We can teach you that. What we can't teach is personality. We need you to have one! LOL We do expect intelligence, energy, and a get-it-done attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick chat with Jodi or Ky, or anyone else on our team.
You need to nail down the details.
You don’t need to race through work and get things done half-assed (we figured that one out ourselves). We need you to slow things down and get them done right.
We want you to love your work.
We are not looking for the life of the party…We are looking for a good, fun person, who gets shit done. (Oh, and we occasionally swear at the studio…not much…but sometimes a joke is only funny with an F-bomb).
You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people.
You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.

Our Private Training Trans4mational Studio is located in beautiful, Delray Beach, Florida.
We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever! And we believe that we are changing the world (you will see what we mean when you check out our website!). Honestly, the job is not all roses and puppy dogs — there is some good news and there is some bad news.
Bad News: (is it really bad news?)
- The pay sucks (in the beginning). Meaning, that you won’t get rich at this job...at least to start. It can be some extra spending money, for sure. However, if you are seeking a job to support a household then this is no longer the” coolest” part-time coaching job ever, it is now the “suckiest” part-time coaching job ever. But if you are a driven individual who is coachable with long-term goals then the sky is the limit! Looking to run the studio? You just might, but you know where you have to start...the beginning!
Good Stuff:
Our Private Training Studio is located blocks from Downtown Delray Beach and a mile or so from the beach with floor-to-ceiling windows and FREE street parking. Just think of the amazing workouts you will get training with Celebrity Coach, Ky Evans - yeah, that’s right, basically, a free studio membership during your 6-week on-the-job training comes with the job! And there are even more (truly) great things... Like, we really have floor-to-ceiling views and you will lose weight and tone up while working out with Ky….but, if you don’t like working out while you learn, this may not be the job for you…. I mean we do work in the fitness industry!
The work is fun, fresh, and dynamic. You will be working directly with our co-founders, Jodi and Ky, and helping them with a mix of projects and support to run a successful Private Training Studio...
We aren’t big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around.
During Your 6-week On-The-Job Training, the hours may be flexible. We will work with you to get a routine that works for everyone. One or Two long days on the weekend best for you? No problem. Rather work early mornings and later evenings or mid-morning until mid-afternoon? Cool, we can do those too.
You will experience things, do things, and make decisions on things that no big stuffy company would ever allow you to do. You will be able to have an active role in the work that you do and the growth of the studio.
After your 90 day probationary period, you may be eligible for a raise. Yep, after ninety days, all our employees are evaluated, and depending on your performance we may increase your compensation! Boom!!!
You don’t need to be skilled at roller skating or laser tag or bowling or escaping a room or dressing up and dancing to Backstreet Boys' “Backstreets Back – Alright” (long story short... Ky had Kevin teach him that dance, and come on – I know you sang that when you read it – HA!), but you will likely be doing all of those things. Every few months we like to do something fun or goofy or both as a team.
So What's The Offer, Ky?
If this is a certification that could turn into a job that gets you so excited that you would even work for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it…we prefer getting paid as well)
- This starts as a part-time, coaching but will turn into a full-time job for the right person. The starting pay isn't mind blowing (at first) and the hours will be 10 - 15 a week (to-start) but after that - the sky is the limit! Want to run the studio? You just might! But you have to start where you start. And you must come into our Delray Beach Private Training Studio three to four times a week (sorry, but this is not a virtual job).
- In addition to being a detailed person, you must follow systems and processes. In fact, just to prove that you are detailed oriented and can follow procedures when you apply for this position on the application, you must include “I have found my type of peeps” in your answer to the question - "Why are you interested in becoming a L.I.F.T Lounge Coach?" . Yep, that’s our little trick to sort out the people who blanket send their resume to anyone and everyone, from the folks (that’s you) who are truly interested in this position.
- We are looking to bring our new coach on board as soon as possible, but we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culturally. One thing that will give you a BIG leg up (but is optional) is to send a quick video in along with your resume (in fact, everyone who works here did this). In your video, tell us why you think you’re perfect for this job and why you will rock this position. This is purely for us to get a sense of your personality.
